Introduction

Here are the results of your personality questionnaire

The results are created using the answers that you provided in the instrument and are calculated using various different methods to provide the best possible overview.

It should be noted that these results are not professional advice and should only be used as a guide.

The results of the instrument are not designed to put you into a box. Instead, the idea is to show you how much of 4 different dynamics you demonstrate. These traits combined will be indicative of your overall personality and will give you a Dynamic Stack. This will be 4 colour blocks stacked in an order of strength, with the strongest at the top.

The higher the dynamic, the more dominant the characteristics of that trait will be in your visible behaviour toward others.

To show you the best possible view, you’ll also see a number of different graphs explaining your results.

The Background

The 4 traits are made up of a combination of preferences. These preferences were described in work by Dr. Karl Jung and are commonly known as Jungian Preferences or Jungian Types. You may be familiar with some of the language. There are two sets of preferences that are used in the results, and this is what the words in the instrument are measuring:

1. Extraversion (E) vs. Introversion (I)

  • Extraversion: Prefers to focus on the outer world of people and activities. Extraverts are energised by social interactions, enjoy being active and involved in a variety of activities, and tend to be expressive.
  • Introversion: Prefers to focus on the inner world of ideas and reflections. Introverts are energised by solitary activities, enjoy deep conversations with a few people rather than broad social engagements, and tend to be more reserved.

2. Thinking (T) vs. Feeling (F)

  • Thinking: Prefers to make decisions based on objective principles and logical analysis. Thinkers value truth and fairness and make decisions based on logical consequences rather than personal impact.
  • Feeling: Prefers to make decisions based on personal values and the impact on people. Feelers value harmony and compassion, and they consider the personal circumstances and the needs of others in their decision-making process.

Other similar instruments may use two other preferences to create a deeper look at your personality. You can see this approach in our Target16 profile.

Assertiveness Traits

Below is how my personality translates into assertiveness traits:

My assertiveness traits typically manifest in a balanced approach to decision-making, where I weigh up all outcomes carefully before making a final choice. I quite enjoy the process of debate, but I will rarely be the one to instigate challenging discussions. Additionally, I am very careful not to domineer over others or assert my ideas too aggressively, often exhibiting a level-headed demeanour.

When it comes to changes in plans or unexpected circumstances, I take a considered approach, attempting to adapt in the manner calculated to achieve the best result. My visibility in leadership roles tends to be somewhat limited due to my handed-off approach, preferring an egalitarian climate to one dominated by a single leading voice.

I have a clear focus on quality and precision, paying close attention to the fine detail of situations. My emphasis on following policies, rules, and procedures is always apparent. I often play the role of a mediator in conflict situations, with my calming personality and diplomatic approach being key traits in preserving harmony within the team.

I am often praised for being easy to work with, using my personable approach to foster positive relationships. I find it natural to go on with a wide variety of personalities and am adept at finding common ground. My caution regarding the impact of decisions often leads others to view me as thoughtful and considerate.

In summary, my assertiveness traits are:

  • Taking a balanced approach to decision-making.
  • Enjoying the process of debate without actively instigating it.
  • Exhibiting a level-headed demeanour and refrains from overly dominating conversations or situations.
  • Adapting to changing circumstances in a calculated manner.
  • Exhibiting a respectful demeanour in leadership roles, prioritising a unified team over a single leading voice.
  • Shows a focus on quality and precision, and places an emphasis on following rules and procedures.
  • Skills as a mediator in conflict situations, using diplomatic approach to diffuse tense situations.
  • Having an easy-going, personable manner that allows me to work well with a variety of people.
  • Displaying caution and thoughtfulness when making decisions, often considering the impact of these decisions on others.

Passiveness Traits

Below is how my personality translates into passiveness traits:

My passiveness traits reflect a certain sense of stability in my actions and decisiveness. I tend to be cautious and methodical in my approach to tasks. I often come across as reserved, as I tend to hold back until I am confident that I've considered all the necessary details. I am also consistent in my actions and not necessarily prone to sudden changes or high-risk behaviours. With my tendency towards precision, I value accuracy and consistency in the tasks that I approach.

I often prefer to follow established procedures instead of leading an initiative or taking charge. In a team, I do not naturally seek the limelight. Instead, I prefer to contribute quietly and efficiently to the collective efforts. I tend to be attuned to the rules and requirements of the situation, making sure things are done in accordance with the existing guidelines. Likewise, I am reliable and trust-worthy; I maintain a composed demeanour, even in stressful or unexpected situations.

Now, while I do not easily embrace change, it doesn't mean I resist it. Rather, I take time to understand it, perhaps more time than others. Patience with myself and those around me is a trait I keep in my repertoire. When faced with a challenge, I don't rush into action but take time to ponder the potential implications. I tend to keep my emotions carefully guarded, and it may be hard for others to know what I'm thinking or feeling.

In social situations, I may come across as a bit reserved or distant. I am sensitive to criticism and I am wary of possible negative outcomes. I am not particularly expressive and I can sometimes appear indifferent or detached. I am definitely more of a listener than a talker. However, my silence should not be mistaken for lack of engagement. In fact, I often pay close attention to what is being said, dissecting and analysing information in silence.

In summary, my passiveness traits are:

  • A reserved and cautious nature
  • A tendency towards consistency and precision in work
  • A preference for following established procedures and guidelines
  • A patient approach towards change
  • A careful guard over emotions and thoughts
  • A tendency to be more of a listener than a talker
  • A sensitivity to criticism and a focus on avoiding negative outcomes

Aggressiveness Traits

Below is how my personality translates into aggressive traits:

I am prone to direct and confrontational displays of aggression when my personal anxieties and stresses peak. I may act in a domineering manner, attempting to exert control over a situation or individuals. I might impose my will and decisions on others, especially when I believe it’s necessary for results, inadvertently showing traces of the Red Dynamic.

Influenced by the Yellow Dynamic, I might resort to persuasive aggression, manipulating conversations and situations to align them with my point of view. My aggression might manifest in the form of relentless arguing, refusing to back down until I feel heard. Occasionally, I manage to hide my aggression behind charm or charisma, making it easier for others to accept.

In line with the Green Dynamic, my aggression may reflect as a dogged persistence to resist change and maintain the status quo. Despite appearing compliant, I could stubbornly insist on current routines and methodologies without openly displaying my resistance.

My adherence to the Blue Dynamic prompts me towards passive aggression in formal settings, expressing my displeasure or rebellion through non-compliance, subtle sabotage, or reluctant compliance. I might exhibit a sense of perfectionism which turns into obsessive nitpicking or criticism aimed at others when standards are not met.

In summary, my aggressiveness traits are:

  • Prone to direct and confrontational displays of aggression
  • Occasionally domineering and controlling
  • Persuasive aggression leading to manipulation
  • Stubborn resistance to change
  • Passive-aggressive behaviour in formal settings
  • Obsessive criticism when perfectionism ideals aren't met

Areas for Development

Below are some suggested area for development when it comes to my assertive, passive and aggressive traits:

My level of assertiveness is moderate, suggesting that there are situations where I might not assert my perspectives or needs clearly enough. For instance, instead of expressing my ideas openly, I sometimes tend to hold back, especially in a group setting. Similarly, I may occasionally avoid taking the lead in decision-making processes thereby creating opportunities for efficiency to be overlooked.

One another aspect that needs to be addressed is my slight inclination towards passiveness. This sometimes results in me yielding to others' viewpoints, even when I have a different opinion. It appears that I may be more concerned about maintaining harmony rather than confronting disagreements and conflicts, which, in the long run, could limit my potential to influence or impact discussions.

Simultaneously, I have a tendency to exhibit aggressive behaviour at times, particularly when I am stressed or under pressure. This could inadvertently lead to friction in relationships with colleagues, potentially having a negative impact on team morale. The need for control and competition, perhaps due to my red dynamic, may make me appear unapproachable or intimidating at times.

In terms of my green and blue dynamics, I could sometimes hold on to traditional approaches, rather than exploring creative and innovative solutions. While respecting procedures and processes are essential, balance is key to spur growth and expansion. Correspondingly, I may be prone to spending excessive time in planning and contingating, hence impacting productivity.

My yellow dynamic value is moderate, indicating that while I value teamwork and collaboration, I may be passively compliant with directions, rather than taking proactive steps to foster engagement, motivation, or rapport among team members.

In summary, my areas for development are:

  • Uplifting my level of assertiveness:
  • Reducing my tendency towards passiveness:
  • Minimising aggressive behaviour especially in times of stress:
  • Balancing my green and blue dynamic characteristics to promote creativity and productivity:
  • Leveraging my yellow dynamic values to foster engagement and motivation within the team.

Key Challenges

Below are some of my key challenges when it comes to my assertive, passive and aggressive traits:

Balancing my assertiveness could be a genuine struggle for me. My natural inclination towards passivity could sometimes make me reluctant to voice out my opinions in a group situation. This could potentially make me feel unheard or overlooked. On the contrary, there could be times when I tend to lean towards being more aggressive than necessary, which may lead to others perceiving me as domineering or unapproachable.

In some instances, I may find it difficult to assert my ideas or influence others due to potential uncertainties with my role in a team dynamic. As I lean towards harmony, my desire to maintain a positive group dynamic may often overshadow my need for personal accomplishment. This may potentially result in me failing to assert myself optimally.

On the other hand, the issue of ensuring compliance could be hindering me from being assertive. For me, adhering to the established rules is crucial, and the fear of breaking these may inhibit my assertiveness and result in passivity.

Pressure situations could be particularly challenging. Whilst I may strive to remain level-headed, I can find it hard to manage my reactions. I might either resort to passivity to maintain the equilibrium or exhibit aggressiveness out of a perceived need to take control.

In summary, my key challenges are:

  • A tendency to be overtly passive, making it hard for me to voice my opinions.
  • A struggle with balancing between personality extremes: passiveness and aggressiveness.
  • Potential uncertainties when it comes to asserting my ideas, due to my preferential leaning towards group harmony over personal accomplishment.
  • Compliance constraints may inhibit my assertiveness and contribute to passivity.
  • Difficulty in managing my reactions in pressure situations, either leaning towards passivity or aggressiveness.

Strengths

Below are some of my strengths when it comes to my assertive, passive and aggressive traits:

Balancing my assertiveness could be a genuine struggle for me. My natural inclination towards passivity could sometimes make me reluctant to voice out my opinions in a group situation. This could potentially make me feel unheard or overlooked. • Compliance constraints may inhibit my assertiveness and contribute to passivity.
  • Difficulty in managing my reactions in pressure situations, either leaning towards passivity or aggressiveness.

Potential Challenges

Potential challenges are the things you are likely to struggle with. They may, ever so slightly (or in some cases definitely) get in the way of success. Other people may find these traits frustrating too.

I could improve on making quicker decisions, as my methodical nature sometimes leads to over-analysing situations. The time I take to consider every detail can occasionally delay action, especially in fast-paced environments. Finding the right balance between thoroughness and efficiency is an area where I continue to grow.

I may struggle with adapting to sudden or unplanned changes, since I prefer structure and predictability. This can occasionally lead to discomfort when asked to shift priorities at short notice. My desire for stability sometimes makes it challenging to embrace rapid changes that require immediate flexibility.

Balancing my focus on maintaining harmony with addressing conflicts head-on is also a potential challenge. Though I aim for a cooperative atmosphere, I may sometimes avoid direct confrontation, which could impede timely conflict resolution. Learning to assertively address issues while preserving team cohesion is something I am working on.

While I value comprehensive communication, I might occasionally seek too much input, which can slow down decision-making and implementation. This can also lead to a risk of becoming overwhelmed by varying opinions and perspectives, causing hesitation in selecting a definitive course of action.

Finally, my strength in maintaining consistency can sometimes limit my willingness to take calculated risks, potentially stifacing innovation. I may need to push myself to experiment and embrace new approaches, balancing my natural inclination for caution with opportunities for growth and progress.

In summary, my challenges are:

- Decisiveness - Flexibility - Conflict Management - Risk-taking

Areas for Development

Based on your Dynamics Stack and your scores, here are suggested areas that you could to develop further in.

I could develop my ability to make decisions more swiftly, ensuring that I balance thorough analysis with timely action. Enhancing my adaptability will help me better manage unplanned changes, allowing me to remain effective even in dynamic environments. Embracing change more openly and responding with flexibility are things that I should look to develop further.

Improving my skills in managing conflicts directly, while maintaining harmony, will aid in fostering a more dynamic team environment. I should develop assertiveness in addressing issues early on, to prevent potential misunderstandings from escalating.

I could also focus on developing my ability to synthesise different viewpoints more efficiently, reducing the time spent deliberating over diverse inputs. By honing this skill, I can streamline decision-making processes without sacrificing thoroughness. Additionally, fostering a greater openness to calculated risks will encourage more innovative thinking, increasing my willingness to explore new approaches and solutions.

I aim to develop a stronger comfort level with ambiguity, enabling me to confidently navigate situations where not all variables are clear. Strengthening these elements will support my growth, allowing me to enhance my effectiveness and contributions within my role.

In summary, my areas for development are:

- Decision-making - Adaptability - Conflict Resolution - Risk-taking

How to Motivate You

Here are some ideas on how others can motivate you and how you can motivate yourself.

You can motivate me by recognising my efforts and achievements, as feeling valued and appreciated fuels my drive and commitment. I feel more motivated if I am given opportunities to refine my skills and acquire new knowledge, with training and development initiatives that align with my structured methodology. Additionally, transparent communication and involvement in decision-making processes keep me engaged, as they offer me a sense of belonging and purpose in the collective organisational goals.

Creating a balanced environment that supports both stability and creative problem-solving enhances my motivation, allowing me to contribute innovative ideas within a secure and consistent framework. Empowering me to take ownership of projects and allowing for some autonomy in how I achieve tasks also enhances my self-motivation, as it demonstrates trust in my judgment and capabilities. Having clear goals and a vision that align with both personal and professional development encourages my dedication and proactive engagement.

In summary, you can motivate me by:

- Recognition - Development - Involvement - Ownership

Motivation Style

Based on your motivation questionnaire, here are some thoughts on your motivation style.

I am primarily driven by a desire for ownership and meaning in my work. I seek to take charge and possess a deep sense of responsibility, striving to ensure that my contributions align with my values and purpose. This desire to make a meaningful impact is a core component of my motivation.

Alongside this, I am also motivated by power and activity, which means I thrive in environments where I can exert influence and engage actively with tasks and projects. I tend to involve myself deeply in my work, deriving energy from being actively engaged and in control of the outcomes.

Although recognition and achievement play a role in my motivation, they are not as prominent. My focus leans more towards meaningful ownership rather than solely seeking accolades or accomplishment. Affiliation and competence are less of a driving force for me, indicating that while I value connections and skills, they do not largely influence my approach to work or learning.

Intrinsic Vs Extrinsic Motivators

Based on your scores, we are able to determine whether you are motivated by intrinsic or extrinsic motivators

Intrinsic Motivation means you I am driven by inner values and a personal sense of purpose. When I’m intrinsically motivated, I do things because they feel meaningful or enjoyable to me, not because of external rewards. I might find satisfaction in learning something new, solving a complex problem, or contributing to something that matters deeply to me. Success, for me, often comes from feeling fulfilled, not just from recognition or tangible rewards.

Extrinsic Motivation means I respond strongly to external motivators like recognition, praise, achievement, or clear outcomes. When I’m extrinsically motivated, I’m energised by meeting goals, receiving feedback, or knowing your work is seen and valued. Whether it’s striving for a promotion, earning rewards, or being acknowledged for your efforts, these external signals help drive my momentum and focus.

Intrinsic Vs Extrinsic Strength Chart

Intrinsic: 39%
Extrinsic: 49%

Desires Scatter Graph

The graph below shows the placement of each of the 8 desires in relation to Intrinsic and Extrinsic and also the importance to me:

Intrinsic Extrinsic Higher Importance Lower Importance Power Activity Recognition Affiliation Competence Ownership Meaning Achievement

My motivation profile presents a balance between intrinsic and extrinsic drives, with a slight inclination towards extrinsic motivators. This suggests that while I find motivation from external sources, such as gaining power, recognition, and ownership over my tasks, a significant portion of my inner drive comes from within.

I am inspired by the pursuit of intrinsic desires like finding meaning, fostering affiliation, and developing competence. These intrinsic factors guide my actions, ensuring that the work I do aligns with my values and personal growth.

Yet, the extrinsic motivators carry just a bit more weight for me. I will often seek to exert influence and take charge in my professional environment, finding satisfaction in tangible outcomes and recognisable successes. This balance between the intrinsic and extrinsic suggests that I have a well-rounded approach to work, valuing both personal fulfilment and visible achievements as drivers for my engagement and success.

Motivation & Personality Synergy

Below are some details of how personality aligns with my personality:

My personality profile reveals a balanced presence of the Red, Green, and Blue Dynamics, with a slightly higher inclination towards the Blue Dynamic. This combination aligns well with my motivational landscape.

I find that my stronger leaning towards the Blue Dynamic is synergistic with my intrinsic motivation for competence and meaning. My analytical approach and attention to detail are supported by my drive for understanding and purpose in my work. The desire for ownership and power reflects the influence of the Red Dynamic, where I am inclined towards taking charge and experiencing a sense of control.

Interestingly, my motivation for affiliation is slightly less pronounced, which mirrors the moderate presence of the Green Dynamic in my personality. My approach tends to be balanced, though I may not actively seek out constant social interaction or validation. I can engage meaningfully when needed.

Overall, the interplay between my motivational drives and personality dynamics provides a cohesive view of my professional approach, showcasing a harmonious blend of seeking meaningful achievement and structured analysis.
